Cabins
At the end of their day of fun, kids will come back to a clean, climate-controlled bunkhouse with their friends. All cabins offer spacious accommodations with rustic charm. Need to catch up on schoolwork or check in with family? Each cabin provides Wi-Fi. Kids will feel right at home with en-suite, individual bathroom and shower facilities. There are front and back porches complete with rocking chairs for relaxing and building relationships with their cabin mates. The 24 cabins are bunkroom style sleeping up to 17 or can be divided into 48 individual, private spaces. Cabins offer laundry facilities on-site.
Accessibility
Facilities are accessible, and transportation is available across the property for those if needed. Each cabin village has one accessible bathroom. Please contact us at 936-594-2274 for more information on accommodations.
The Dining Hall
Our dining hall is located on the waterfront and offers 12,200 square feet, accommodating 250 (400) people, with an additional 3,500 square feet of porch space for social time. We offer a selection of coffee and tea, a full salad bar and snacks. Our chef will prepare balanced, kid-friendly meal options that even the pickiest eater will love. And there are alternative options to accommodate dietary needs. The dining hall offers Wi-Fi as well as A/V.
WT & Louise J. Moran Health Center
We are committed to the health and safety of all campers. The health center is designed for the challenges of modern-day camp, including efficient medication storage and distribution, quarantine space and the Bob, Dick and David Weekley Nurses Residence, our on-site living space for medical personnel. It also includes the Hamill Foundation Camp Store and Snack Bar.
The Weekley Chapel
Are you holding an assembly? The chapel area seats up to 400 at a time. The stage is approximately 10 x 18, with steps spanning the full width and side access via a separate stairway.
Arts and Science Center
Camp offers something for every child. The Carolyn and Clark Baker Arts and Science Center features four classrooms that seat 15–20, where we let kids’ curiosity and creativity run wild. Kids can experience our Earth Science room featuring rocks, minerals and fossils from around the world. Interested in performing arts? We have a dance room and a music stage. Love to make arts and crafts? Visit our crafts and pottery rooms complete with wheels and kilns to bring camper’s creations to life! The covered outdoor pavilion seats 300 and has full A/V capabilities. Many of our groups have outdoor dinners in this space.
Hamman Ranch at Camp Cullen
Kids will learn how to ride in our state-of-the-art Hammil Equestrian Center on Hamman Ranch, featuring 30,000 square feet of arena space. Kids will learn riding skills, horse care and gain confidence as they guide their horse around the ring and on our riding trails. There are bleachers for viewing, ten covered stalls, a tack room, feed room, a classroom in the breezeway with a projector screen, office space, storage, and restrooms.
Indoor/Outdoor Meeting Spaces
Camp Cullen offers customizable indoor meeting room options and outdoor spaces to accommodate anywhere from 50 to 250 people. Spaces have full audio/video capability and offer a variety of room layouts.
500 Acres of Outdoor Adventure Fun!
Kids can explore 500 acres of camp grounds in their time here. Outside of our buildings, kids can experience a wide variety of outdoor activities. From target sports ranges to horse trails, wildlife, geological features, a wild west town, hiking trails, a pool and more, the opportunities for discovery and wonder are endless!
