Camp Cullen Teen Experience
Camp Cullen Teen Experiences
Overnight camp is an adventurous experience for all ages! As your camper moves through their teen years, the experience changes and camp offerings adapt to create the best experience for your teen.
When a camper turns 13, they have the opportunity for “teen-only” camp experiences. Campers ages 13-17 can register for our Teen Adventure sessions, while campers ages 14-17 can register for our Leaders in Training sessions.
Teen Adventure Camp
Our Teen Adventure Camps are designed for the campers who like to forge a new adventure themselves! These programs will bring teens together in the outdoors and create a bond centered around a common love of nature and adventure while being mentored and coached by experienced staff who are there every step of the way.
Teen Adventure Camps focus on guiding campers to thrive in an outdoor environment. These camps are one week long but allow for a weekend bridge to create a two week adventure! Throughout the week, campers will have the opportunity to be a part of some traditional camp programming but will spend a significant amount of time learning and utilizing skills necessary for overnight camping. Throughout the week, they’ll put their skills to the test. The Backpacking Trip will hike and camp in Little Thicket Nature Sanctuary and the Canoe Trip will paddle Lake Livingston to our Teen Adventure property to spend a couple of nights. Through the fun yet challenging week bonds and memories will be created that will surely last a lifetime.
A unique packing list will be shared along with the weeks itinerary well ahead of the check in date. Camp will provide all specialized equipment needed.

Leaders in Training Camp
Leaders in Training Camp teaches leadership skills in a group setting by presenting campers with a series of camp activity challenges. This program aims to develop the campers’ passion for service and leadership and make a difference in their lives, which will make a difference in their community when they return home.
LIT Campers who love camp and want to make a difference in other campers’ lives may have the opportunity to come back and serve as a future camp counselor.
