Summer Camp Facilities Built for Adventure & Safety

Summer Overnight Camp Facilities

The YMCA Camp Cullen facility is a best-in-class facility, intentionally designed to deliver a high quality, immersive experience to kids of all ages. The cabins, activities, layout and amenities, mixed with the well preserved natural environment provide a perfect setting for fun, growth, excitement, disconnection from the hustle of the world and reconnection with nature and new friends.

Every facility at Camp Cullen is staffed by trained, background-checked counselors who are present with your child from morning until lights out. Our structured environment gives parents complete peace of mind while their camper explores, grows, and makes memories that last a lifetime.

Safety & Supervision

At Camp Cullen, the safety and wellbeing of every camper is our highest priority.

Our trained and background-checked counselors are present with your child throughout the entire day — from morning wake-up through evening lights out. Staff-to-camper ratios are carefully maintained across all activities, whether your child is on the water, on the trails, in the arts center, or settling into their cabin for the night.

Every counselor holds current certifications in first aid, CPR, and AED use. Our on-site Health Center is staffed around the clock to handle medical needs of any kind during your child’s session.

For full details on our safety standards, emergency protocols, and staff certifications, visit our dedicated Safety page.

Cabins

At the end of their day of fun, kids will come back to a clean, climate controlled bunkhouse with their friends.

Kids will feel right at home with en-suite, individual bathroom and shower facilities. There are front and back porches complete with rocking chairs for relaxing and building relationships with their cabin mates.

Our kitchen team is happy to accommodate dietary needs and food allergies — just include your child’s requirements during registration and we will take care of the rest.

Weekley Chapel

Campers start their day with songs, skits, and excitement for their activities at this outdoor amphitheater. After their dinner and day of fun, campers come back to the chapel for closing ceremonies against the sunset sky. The chapel is a place to experience the camp community as a whole – to bring campers together in readiness for the day, reflection on their achievements, and to display their talents including dance, singing, cheering, and experience joy together.
