Overnight Camp Experience
We provide an epic camp experience like no other
Camp provides your child with an enriching outdoor experience that includes dozens of activities and specialty tracks that allow children and teens to choose their own activities, including horseback riding and water sports. All of this is provided in a multi-layered protection plan with safety as the number one priority, while maintaining the magic of camp.
Camp Cullen Specialty Camps
We know that your camper thrives while doing activities they love, and no matter what that interest may be, we have the perfect option. Our specialty camps allow campers to strengthen their unique skills and make new friends with similar interests while enjoying traditional camp activities like swimming, games, art and more.
Cabin Living
At the end of their day of fun, kids will come back to a clean, climate-controlled bunkhouse with their friends. Kids will feel right at home with an en-suite, individual bathroom and shower facilities. There are front and back porches complete with rocking chairs for relaxing and building relationships with their cabin mates.
One of my favorite parts of meals is I get to make my own plate and choose what I want to eat!

Dining & Food
Our dining hall is located on the waterfront and offers 12,200 square feet with an additional 3,500 square feet of porch space for social time. Campers sit with their cabin mates to enjoy balanced, kid-friendly meal options prepared by our camp chef that even the pickiest eater will love.
A Day at Camp
A typical day at camp includes time for learning new skills, teambuilding, healthy meals and of course, fun. We know that campers thrive on routine and most camp days are typically built around the same schedule so campers can quickly become comfortable with what activity is next.
The day begins around 7 am with flag raising, a healthy breakfast and a morning show. Campers then head off to their club followed by their choice of land or water activities. After lunch and a quick rest, campers are able to resume those same activities from the morning or pick a new one for a fun-filled afternoon. Dinner is next, followed by cabin activities and an evening program. Each day ends with a YMCA Camp Cullen tradition, Embers. This is a nondenominational reflection on the days’ lessons around the YMCAs five core values (Caring, Honesty, Respect, Responsibility and Faith).
We want every camper to try a new activity, discover hidden talents and strengths and make new friends while at YMCA Camp Cullen and our number one priority is providing a safe, positive camper experience.
